Daycamp Day 4 – Thursday

THEME:God loves everyone.

TODAY’S VERSE: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears God and does what is right is acceptable to God” (Acts 10:34b-35).

Day 4 is here! Today we’re learning about neighbors in our own country, the United States.

Let’s start with another favorite Daycamp song to get us moving today!

TODAY’S SUPPLY LIST

Items included in your “Thursday” bag:

  • Game (all you need) – typical household items;
  • Snack – applesauce;
  • Craft (pencil pouch) – quart zippered bag with slider, decorative tape or stickers

Below is today’s video containing an Opening Skit, Prayers, Bible Reading, Game, Craft and Storytime about our country of the day.

Feel free to pause the video as needed to complete the activities (it lasts about 20 minutes). Don’t forget to check out our song videos any time you’re ready for a dance break!

We hope you have a great time at Daycamp! Share photos and videos of your day on our Facebook event page!

If you ever need more instructions – check out the full resource guide.

Our traditional Daycamp food drive is still happening!! Donations can be placed in the boxes outside our church entrance during Daycamp week. Thank you for sharing with your neighbors!

If you aren’t our ‘local’ neighbor, we encourage you to find your town’s food pantry and make a donation or visit ELCA.org/hunger to learn more ways to help fight hunger all over the world.
