Each fall, 2nd Grade Students are presented with Bibles from the congregation.
Bibles will be presented on Sunday, October 30, Reformation Sunday. Please have your 2nd grader plan to attend either service to receive their Bible.
Raising a child in the faith is an important part of parenting and the congregation wants to be a helpful partner in this holy endeavor. Martin Luther called Christian parenting a beautiful task and a vocation. He also wrote that ‘there is no greater or nobler authority on earth than the teaching office of parents’ (Luther, ‘The Estate of Marriage, 1522)
