Join us Sunday Mornings between services in the Adult Sunday School Room (off of the Fellowship Hall).
We are studying the life and teachings of Jesus through the lens of the fact that Jesus was a Jew. In encountering Jesus and understanding his Jewish heritage, you may see Jesus differently and gain a better understanding of his message and enriching your own faith.
The Jewishness of Jesus: finishing December 3
We will end by examining the Jewish festivals and how Jesus interacted with them.
Faith Stories: December 10—31
This will be an intergenerational time of sharing and talking about faith. High school students and college age youth who are back from school are invited to come and participate. We will be taking time to share with one another and learn from all how we experience God’s presence in our lives.
Mental Health: January 7—February 11
This is a significant issue in our world today and more people are being open with their struggles related to mental health. We will be thinking about this issue from a faith perspective.
Lenten Study:
The topic is yet to be determined. {If you have suggestions, please talk with Pastor Steve or Intern Quentin}
Baptism: April 7—May 19
Our study will be examining what it means to live out our baptismal promises. This study is a part of Intern Quentin’s project that lifts up baptism. More information will be made available as we get closer to this study.
