Place UNWRAPPED toys for ANY age under the Christmas Tree by the restrooms. There is a high need for teen gifts.
Luther League will coordinate delivery of these items to the Firemen’s Cheer fund (and possibly to the families directly). Firemen’s Cheer fund is considered the oldest charity in Bartholomew County still in existence.
Angels can be picked up from the tree and returned UNWRAPPED by December 17.
This year’s angel tree tags will help Sertoma with late-dated applications to their program. Our angel tags include ideas for perennial favorites, such as remote control cars, trucks, and helicopters; hot wheels; baby toys of all sorts; learning toys of all sorts; Legos; footballs; basketballs; and board games - these will make sure even families that need last-minute help have something under the Christmas Tree!
Borchers is also invited to help with wrapping on December 18, 6:30 - 8pm at the Christmas Miracle Headquarters at Shoppes of Seymour (formerly Tanger Outlet Center).
Delivery will take place the morning of December 24. Anyone is invited to meet at Shoppes of Seymour to help! Watch the bulletin/app for times.
Another round of school deliveries will be made in January to local schools. The beginning of the new year can be tough for families forced to move and needing to replace items. Items most requested are: new child size and women’s size underwear, pants, toiletries and feminine hygiene products. Items can be placed in donation bins by the Welcome Center.
