Romans 8:28 Olga Otte
“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.”
~ Romans 8:28
Sometimes I am glad that I can’t see the future. If I knew what was coming, how would I live differently? Someone asked Martin Luther what he would do if the world was ending tomorrow. He said he would plant a tree because that is what he had planned to do.
I believe that’s how God wants us to live our lives. He doesn’t want us to worry or to try and determine the future. We need to trust Him to take care of us. Since my sister and I both discovered that we had cancer within eight months of each other, I can worry a lot. Then I remember , my worry doesn’t do a thing to make me happy or change the future.
We all need to give our worries to God so that he will everything out for our best.
